Licensed Esthetician & Phlebotomist
Artistry through all medias has always been a passion of mine, though watercolors, charcoal, and makeup are my personal favorites. I first became interested in the makeup industry in the fall of 2013, when I began working for The Haunt (West MI) as an SFX makeup artist. There, I learned to perfect my speed and detail work. I also worked on set design and helped conceive ideas and concepts for various "scares".
While working at The Haunt, I began working at Spectrum Health Butterworth as a Phlebotomist, primarily working in the Emergency Department. This sparked my interest in medicine and science, which flourishes to this day. At this time, I learned of the esthiology field and decided to attend the Douglas J Aveda Institute, graduating with my esthetician license in 2017.
From there, I continued on to work at Siren & Proper, both as a lash artist and store manager. I was mentored by the best people in the industry, including Christina Perez, Kalie Belanger, and Steve Garvelink.
Today, I am working towards receiving my BSN to eventually continue on to PA school. Though medicine is my end goal, I can't let go of my artistic side and seeing my clients' faces light up as they look at themselves in the mirror after I've finished a service!
